ASP.NET Developer

Chmura Economics & Analytics (Chmura) is a leader in economic and IT consulting services. The IT branch develops web-based software for both in-house and client projects. Chmura seeks a knowledgeable web/database programmer who will be working in a small team and will handle all aspects of software development. This is an exciting position that will require the ability to self-manage several assignments at one time. Applicants must be self-motivated with a desire to learn and remain on the cutting edge of technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of web front-end.
• Design and implementation of backend and data-tier components.
• Data mining and maintenance of hundreds of gigabytes of data.

Required Skills:

• Experience with ASP.NET, C#, CSS, and JavaScript, SQL are mandatory
• Experience with jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and MVC is preferred
• Demonstrated competency in the design, programming, and testing of web-based applications.
• Strong foundation in n-tier, design patterns, and general object-oriented programming.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Ability to understand design objectives and create innovative solutions.

Mandatory Experience:

• Must be proficient in C# and ASP.NET (Legacy ASP experience does not apply).
• Must have knowledge of database programming.
• Must have knowledge of object oriented software design and development experience.
