Research Assistant

Chmura Economics & Analytics, a Richmond, VA based economics consulting firm is looking for a full time Research Assistant to meet company's increasing needs in the area of economic research. The firm specializes in macroeconomic forecasting, regional economic development, and workforce development.

Major Responsibilities:

• Background research on certain industries, regions, or special economic problems
• Collect economic data from various data sources for input in macro/regional models
• Maintain and update standardized report for clients
• Edit company publications
• Conduct economic impact studies under supervision
• Assist senior employees of the firm with their research

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or other quantitative fields with strong economics background
• Excellent analytical and writing skills
• Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• US citizen or permanent resident
